US to give 2.3 billion dollars in stimulus for clean energy
Aug 13, 2009, 22:50 GMT
Washington - The United States will give up to 2.3 billion dollars in tax credits to green manufacturers in the latest disbursement Thursday of the government's economic stimulus package.
The new credits will go to manufacturers of clean energy equipment including wind, solar, geothermal energy and electric car batteries. Vice President Joe Biden said it marked the latest effort both to revive the US economy and transition away from fossil fuels.
But companies will only find out in January 2010 whether they have been approved for a tax credit, the Energy Department and Treasury Department said in a joint statement.
Funds from the 787-billion-dollar stimulus package, which was approved in February, have been slowly making their way into the struggling US economy over the past few months.

...but with all the experience you obviously have tossing men's salads day after day, you'd think you would have finally figured out how to.
Honestly, this clean energy was really an inspiration when the heat spell came, with wind turbines off-line due to lack of wind, exactly when we needed the output, but I guess you can really cut greenhouse gases if you just do not provide energy in the first place!
I hope this cash is not going to be blown on anything like planning more bloody windfarms. Or studies into biodegradable supermarket packaging, or promoting public transport. C'mon folks, let's play 'frightfully concerned about the environment', oh yah!

Maybe the poster is a woman idiots stick and your insult is not really an insult?
Your english really is not english, but that's another story. When you get out of the 4th grade you will be able to spell, have sentence structure and use correct grammar. Then you will be a 'big-boy'.
speaking of tossed salds, how's that shredded cabbage that you call a brain? Got that one functioning neuron stoned again, EssPee?
...if you want to toss salads, man, woman or farmanimal, this is OK with me as long as I'm not involved. As for the topic, which the 1st poster chose to ignore over insulting me, the grown ups want to talk this fools errand of energy money now, so go find that special person or species and make yourself happy.
Honestly, I'm convinced even monkey boy above has more smarts than Obama here. It's just another $ billion shot at his political buddies, wasting another 10 digits of money in one swath. I'm convinced we should do the federal budget in scientific notation and we could then print it on a 3 inch wide piece of paper. I think it's us doing the tossing and we don't even know it.
'if you want to toss salads, man, woman or farmanimal, this is OK with me as long as I'm not involved. '
By opening your filthy mouth YOU ARE involved, MR. More-than-a-little-full-of-crap, for you hurled the veggies first.
To further your education, salads are made up of vegetables like you. They are not man, woman of farm animal. Yes, moron, farm animal is two separate words.
SP also says: 'the grown ups want to talk this fools errand,' which is not a complete sentence. What is missing is the word 'about,' which in this case is used as a preposition.
Sp should go back to doing something he knows something about: letting the family dog try to f*ck some brains into him via SP's left ear.

plug into an inexhaustible supply of hot air by sticking a pipe in SP4's arse. However the technology to make it clean has not yet been invented.
