Nov 1, 2009, 13:28 GMT
Washington - A total of six bodies, some of them badly decomposed, have now been found at the home of a convicted rapist in the US, police confirmed.
Post-mortems were continuing Sunday, police said, but there were initial indications some of the victims' had been strangled.
Police discovered the first two bodies on Thursday when they came to arrest Anthony Sowell, 50, on a rape charge at his house in Cleveland, Ohio.
A third was found a day later and police have now confirmed three more. Some remains were discovered inside the house, others in a makeshift grave in the back yard.
The suspect - who spent 15 years in prison for a 1989 rape - was arrested on Saturday not far from his home.
