Woods speculation grows as moving van spotted at mansion

Los Angeles - Speculation is growing that Elin Nordegren is planning to divorce her philandering husband Tiger Woods after she was spotted in public without a wedding ring and was also seen directing a moving van at the couple's Florida mansion.

Quoting a source close to Nordegren, People magazine reported Wednesday that she plans to split from the golfing superstar who has been tainted by allegations that he had affairs with as many as 14 women.

The former nanny and model, 29, has 'made up her mind,' the source said. 'There's nothing to think about, he is never going to change.'

Celebrity website RadarOnline reported that Nordegren has even hired celebrity lawyer Sorrell Trope, who handled the divorce proceedings for stars like Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage and Britney Spears among others.

The couple's marital problems were thrust into the spotlight following a late night car crash on November 27 when Woods slammed his car into a tree outside their Florida home reportedly after an argument.

Woods, one of the world's most famous athletes, announced last week that he was taking an indefinite break from professional golf to 'repair the damage' caused by his marital infidelity.

The 33-year-old golfer said he had reached the decision 'after much soul searching' and that he needed to focus his attention on 'being a better husband, father and person.'

'I am deeply aware of the disappointment and hurt that my infidelity has caused to so many people, most of all my wife and children,' Woods wrote on his website. 'I want to say again to everyone that I am profoundly sorry and that I ask forgiveness.'

Woods and Nordegren have two children, a two-year-old daughter and a 10-month-old son.

Since the accident, Woods has not been seen in public and he withdrew from his own tournament in Thousand Oaks, California, just days after the accident.
