Magnum photographer Eve Arnold dies aged 99

New York - Celebrated photographer Eve Arnold has died at the age of 99, her agency Magnum Photos announced.
Arnold died 'peacefully in her sleep' in London on Wednesday, the agency said.
Over a long career she photographed figures such as Marlene Dietrich, Marilyn Monroe and Malcolm X.
She was the first female member of the celebrated Magnum agency. Born in Philadelphia, she moved to London in 1962.
As well as celebrities, Arnold also travelled widely, photographing African slums, brothels in Havana and farmers and politicians in China.
