Jason Derulo breaks neck - cancels tour

Los Angeles - Singer Jason Derulo cancelled his US tour Friday after breaking his neck while rehearsing a stunt for the concert series, he announced to fans.
'The pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I've sustained,' the 22-year-old singer of the hit Watcha Say explained in a press release. 'My fans mean everything to me, so I'm praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future.'
The statement said that Derulo suffered an acute fracture to a verterba that came close to leaving him paralyzed. A photo on his website showed him with a hospital gown and neck brace. 'I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour!,' Derulo said. 'Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU! Like my new chain?'
