Beyonce and Jay-Z go home with Blue Ivy
Jan 10, 2012, 22:55 GMT
New York - Beyonce and husband Jay-Z have taken their newborn daughter Blue Ivy home from the New York City hospital where the baby was born, the New York Daily News reported Tuesday.
The return of the hip hop royalty to their exclusive Manhattan abode will likely come as a relief to other families in the maternity wing of the Lennox Hill Hospital, who were reportedly severely inconvenienced by the tight security surrounding Beyonce and her new baby.
The report said that the ecstatic parents and their baby left the hospital at around 1:30 am Tuesday (0630 GMT) in a convoy of vehicles that left from the hospital's side gate. The baby was born Saturday and Beyonce gave her first description of the emotional moment on her website Tuesday.
'Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven,' the soul diva said. 'She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 pounds (3.54 kg) and it was the best experience of both of our lives.'
