Demi Moore taken to hospital for "exhaustion"

Los Angeles - Actress Demi Moore was taken to hospital by ambulance for what her representative said was treatment for exhaustion but what the celebrity gossip website TMZ.com reported was actually the result of substance abuse.
The medical emergency occurred two months after Moore, 49, announced her split from Ashton Kutcher, 33, with whom she had been married six years.
'Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health,' her representative said Tuesday in a statement to People.com. 'She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.'
TMZ reported that paramedics were called to Moore's home late Monday and they rushed her to hospital 30 minutes later. The report cited unnamed sources as saying she was being treated for substance abuse.
