Celebrities react to Whitney Houston's death

Los Angeles - Celebrities reacted with shock late Saturday to the news that singer Whitney Houston had died at the age of 48 in a Beverly Hills hotel room.
'It's so stunning and unbelievable. I couldn't believe what I was reading coming across the TV screen,' tweeted soul legend Aretha Franklin, who was also Houston's godmother.
'She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth' tweeted Mariah Carey.
'It's a tragedy. Whitney Houston was the greatest singer I've ever heard and she will be truly missed,' crooner Tony Bennett said.
