30 days in the hole for sass talking Latina in Miami (VIDEO) TALK BACK

There's a judge in Miami you do not want to banter with if you ever have the misfortune for being in court.

One smart mouthed Latina played cutesy a bit too far and angered Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat so much he threw her in jail for 30 days.

This is the tale of Penelope Soto, arrested for Xanax possession. The 18-year-old giggled, twirled her hair, described her expensive jewelry and generally acted like a petulant ass when she was was asked by Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat if she was high on drugs at that moment, Soto laughed at the question.

“We're not in a club,” the judge said, reacting to Soto’s seemingly erratic behavior, as reported by WSPN, the Fox TV affiliate in Miami. "Be serious about it."

The drama ramped up when he ordered that Soto be held on $5,000 bail. But Soto saunters off saying “adios” to the judge, who called her back.

Rodriguez-Chomat then increased the bail to $10,000. Soto's response was, "Are you serious?"

"I am serious," Rodriguez-Chomat told Soto.

"Adios," he deadpanned.

Soto then turned up her gang girl bravado by peppering the judge with expletives and giving him the middle finger.

Rodriguez-Chomat was incredulous: "You said [expletive] me?" the judge asked Soto.

"Yes, sir, I did," Soto said.

The judge then ordered her in contempt of court and sentenced her to 30 days in jail.
